I have been coming down to Ocean City for the past 30+ years. I've always stayed in the middle part of the island. We decided to look for a reasonable get away with my family and came across the bed-and-breakfast called Inn the Gardens. I didn't know what to expect because I never stayed down on the northern part of the island however, this bed and breakfast exceeded anything I thought as far as non home/hotel rental accommodations are concerned. When everybody asked how our vacation was, I tell them that a good vacation always starts with where you are staying and this vacation was just that. Inn the Gardens is probably one of the most memorable vacations I've had since I've been coming down to Ocean City, New Jersey. You walk in to this inviting and cozy living room and greeted by the most friendly and welcoming innkeepers. Jennifer was so warm and welcoming and her dog Niña made best friends with my daughter. I have a family of five and the room that we stayed in was more than enough for us. It was spacious we did not feel crammed like a typical hotel room would make you feel. The rooms and beds were extremely clean and were tidied up each day before we came back from the beach or boardwalk.
This was our 2nd summer spending time at the Inn The Gardens and we have found it very pleasurable and comfortable. Jennifer has always been very accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend staying here as it's conveniently located and if you like sitting on porches with covered awnings, like I do, you'll enjoy it here. We will be back again and again.
I've been staying at Inn the Gardens for 5 or 6 years. I like the northern part of the island. It has a different feeling than the more southern part - it's a little less crowded and more relaxing. Jennifer is a terrific host - she makes everyone so comfortable at breakfast and I have had many enjoyable conversations with other people staying at the Inn. The rooms are nice and have everything you need - some even with balconies. I hope to be staying at Inn the Gardens for many years to come.
We woke up each morning to a different menu for breakfast and coffee that Jennifer brought in from Columbia. I will never be able to taste coffee the same because of how delicious this coffee tasted. Just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk as well as downtown Ocean City. We even ordered dinner one night to be delivered to the bed-and-breakfast. We will definitely come back down and stay at Inn the Gardens to make more unforgettable memories.
My wife and I have gone here a couple of times for our wedding anniversary and cannot believe the value we get for our money and how nice a place it is. Jennifer is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and does such a great job. The rooms are kept meticulously clean and are nicer than places you would pay twice as much for.
InnTheGardens was a warm, clean, quiet, and friendly place that made our stay in OC most delightful and memorable. Jennifer is a delightful hostess and her breakfasts are a great way to start a day at the shore. As an added bonus we got to meet other guests who were staying at ITG, which made it feel like family. I am looking forward to a return stay!
