I have been coming to this place forever. We go down as a big family and we enjoy it. They know us very well because how much we go.
We needed a bed just for one night, I called six hotels and none of them would do one weekend night, I was getting worried. Forum not only had that, but we also had use of their pool, outside showers and parking lot after checking out the next day. It was so much better than driving several hours home at 1AM exhausted after a concert. Everyone at the hotel was super helpful and nice too. The room was huge, and could easily fit a family of 4, the bathroom was very small, but functional and the space was very clean, with some old down the shore charm like older light fixtures, and our room had a second door to the pool side of the hotel. I would definitely come back. The walk to the beach was abou 1,000ft, or 3 blocks.
Excellent lodging. World's best bacon from the Le Forum Bistro. Roman Greek decor. World class Concierge service. Beautiful outdoor Roman bath. Electric light in every suite. The best in Ocean City.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Forum. My wife and two young children enjoyed the convenience of the pool, of being walkable to the beach (and ice cream, rental bikes, boardwalk, etc), and of the off-street parking! Every employee was super friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well-maintained. The Forum will be THE place we stay at OCNJ.
"Motor Inn".. I think that is lower than motel, no? Well, this is about as nice as it gets here in Ocean City, I think. This is the second time staying here. Very clean, nice staff. Too bad the cafe is gone but new one soon. We slept well but will bring our own pillows next time because their pillows need help.
