The Hula Grill is one of my wife and daughter's favorite restaurants. I like the food there and love the sticky rice and salad but they keep jacking up the prices. If this place had a view of the water or beach instead of the parking lot of a condominium and the go kart track next door and decided to lower their prices a bit I would make it a 5 star place but can't justify that rating with above average food that is pricey for what you get.
Super,, this food would cost another $20 I n any other resturant. The bay scallop ginger bisque is to die for. Cash only. ATM on site. Also, may be open on weekends only during the off season or closed for the season, so call before you make the trip. We wanted to eat the Monday and it was closed.
Can't believe we haven't been here in our past 8 trips to OC. Staff were awesome, food was fast and delicious. Signature chicken dish was fantastic. Had a burger too, which was good, but not as good as the rest of our meals (9 of us), but I just wanted a burger too (was my 2nd entree). Great place for a quick bite, especially with kids.
10/10, we love it here. Best food on the boardwalk! Creative and authentic food, amazing taste. Get the fire cracker or coconut shrimp.
Good food. The pork had good flavor and the salad dressing which they are famous for was really good (as too the rice)
