Special Diets of all kinds welcome. I am grain free, low starch diet. They have vegan plates, gluten free, dairy free and regular healthy meals. The prices are unbelievably low for such healthy quality food. Our server had the best customer service I have ever seen. Caring for all of our unique dietary needs. Thanks J. She was awesome. They have great coffee according to 2 of the ladies with me. We all loved our dishes. Great place to eat.
One of my favorite spots in OC! Obsessed with the banana whip! My family and I recently tried this place for breakfast and were not disappointed either. This is a must go to spot for vegans and people who prefer gluten free. The GF banana chocolate chip pancakes I ordered were tantalizing! My sister tried the whipolope, and the waffle with banana whip too and loved them both! The service was also outstanding! We had Allie both times we went in the morning and she is A DOLL! So sweet and easy to talk to, plus she's vegan! Bonus if you can get the day old vegan or gf muffins for $1.50 :)
Such a nice break from most of what's available on the boardwalk! The banana whip with all fruit chocolate sauce + berries + slivered almonds was delicious and a good size for the price (my 4 year old ate about 2/3 for her lunch), and I loved the thai tofu wrap I ordered. Will definitely come here next time I'm at the shore.
My mother has health issues that keeps her from eating most foods (eggs, dairy, gluten, sugar) and bashful banana is her savior. She can finally go out to eat with my family and have confidence ordering food. She even takes food home with her so she can stash up for the next time we visit.
Such a cute place with helpful and friendly staff. Love having a healthy treat option on the boardwalk, and banana whips are so great and very filling. Definitely recommend!
