This year, while in OC, I got a one-week pass here. I'm happy to say that my previous assessment was accurate and I was not disappointed! Bottom line; if you are serious about training at the Jersey Shore, Atilis is the place to go.
They have very good rates for daily,weekly and monthly visits. Really appreciated the friendliness and consideration shown me so I bought a tshirt (free advert on my part )
Staff was friendly and I felt right at home as if it where my own gym

My family visits OC almost every summer. While it's a great place one "challenge" has been finding a gym where I can keep up my workouts. I was delighted to find Atilis gym this summer. It had plenty of the equipment I need (ellipticals) and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly much like my Planet Fitness at home. The desk staff was very nice and made me feel welcome

2017 I'll get a membership here instead.
I spend a week in OCNJ every summer. The past few years, I got a weekly membership at the community center. The weekly membership here is a little bit more expensive, but based on what I saw, the equipment (weights) is much better.
A great gym. Friendly staff and community, with clean, functioning and diverse set of equipment. Look forward to my next visit.
In short for those looking for a gym to keep up their programs away from home this place is a god send!
The only wrinkle can be finding a place to park depending on the time of day since the gym is on West Ave. and does not have its own lot. No biggie, you just need to be patient.
