I can't speak for the detailing service, but once they took over Pelican Pete's and installed the new automatic car washer, I lost the only good car wash in town. I tried to give it a chance, but it's worthless. I paid $12 for the "Deluxe" wash, the most expensive option. I went because I had seagull "waste" on my car for 3 days...guess what, after the wash it was still there! This is nothing more than a power washer for cars. It dumps water on the car fast and hard, dumps soap on, then more water to rinse it off. Nothing ever came down to actually wash the car. At home 5 minutes later, I wiped a wet paper towel over the roof and it came out BLACK. I wish I could have posted a photo review to get across how worthless this machine is. If your car is newish and just needs a quick rinsing off it'll be fine, but if your car is actually dirty, forget it and go somewhere else. I miss Pelican Pete's!
From Florida wanted to get the car washed to get the bugs off the mirrors and front of my car. I went through the automatic car wash and paid extra 2 dollars for towel dry and 2 dollars for tire shine. The windshield still had bug spots on it. When I got back to my rental house the bugs were still all over the front of the car and back of the mirrors. Total of 14.00 dollars and I had to get the bugs off the car myself back at the house.
WASTE OF MONEY POOR JOB OF THE EMPLOYEES. EMPLOYEE SHOULD HAVE GOT BUG REMOVAL SPRAY AND TO CLEAN UP THE CAR OF BUGS. IT WAS NOT A 6.00 WASH JOB
Careful not to scratch your car with wand..
The automatic car washes just ok. I miss the old hand wash at Pelican Pete's. Not much can get those baked on bugs from the drive back and forth off of the vehicle like a hand wash.
